Empowering Healing Through Local Art

Curating a Collection to Support and Comfort the Victims of Child Abuse

In a heartfelt partnership, the Children's Safety Center is collaborating with Arts One Presents to curate a collection of local art for their new facility, dedicated to serving the victims of child abuse. This partnership seeks to create a nurturing and healing environment, offering solace and support to victims and their families. Through carefully selected artworks, we aim to inspire hope, resilience, and healing, transforming the center into a place of comfort and empowerment for those on their journey to recovery. Together, we believe in the power of art to bring light into the lives of those affected by abuse, fostering a sense of community and solidarity in the process.

Throughout 2023 and 2024, Arts One Presents curated over 30 site-specific works for the Children’s Safety Center’s new facility in Springdale. Featuring local artists like Aimée Papazian, Roxy Erickson, Dena Hudson, Stevie Stephens, and Leah Grant, these installations transform the administrative and therapy wings into spaces of trust, hope, and healing. This partnership highlights our commitment to empowering children to dream big through the beauty of the diverse NWA art community.
