Tune in for a nostalgic night with The 1940’s Radio Hour—a live-on-air variety show bursting with swing-era classics, backstage hijinks, and holiday sparkle. Set during a 1942 broadcast of the Mutual Manhattan Variety Cavalcade, the production channels the golden age of radio with toe-tapping numbers like “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy,” quick-change sound effects, and a charming cast of characters trying to keep the show rolling.
Creative credits include Music Direction by Cheri Headrick & Amy Talbert, with a Director’s Note and full audition/production materials linked on the show page. Come early, bring friends, and let Arts One Presents whisk you into the warmth and wit of a bygone era—live, local, and unforgettable.

James & The Giant Peach
Arts One Presents is all about sparking creativity, building confidence, and helping young people grow through the magic of the arts. Our Youth Driven Theatre Program (YDT) gives youth the chance to dive into the exciting world of theatre—from center stage to behind the scenes. This year, we’re bringing James and the Giant Peach to life, and it’s all powered by young talent!
Whether it's acting, directing, designing sets, running lights and sound, or managing backstage chaos—youth take the lead in every part of the production. It’s not just about putting on a show (though that’s pretty awesome too); it’s about learning real-world skills, working as a team, and having a blast while doing it. With YDT, the spotlight is on creativity, collaboration, and making theatre magic—by youth, for everyone.
