Anne Jackson, Executive Director
Anne Jackson Executive Director, Arts One Presents Anne Jackson is the Executive Director of Arts One Presents (AOP), where, since 2021, she has led a period of transformational growth and renewal for the organization. Working closely with the Board of Directors, Anne guided the development of a new strategic vision, oversaw a full organizational rebrand, and led a comprehensive re-organization that repositioned Arts One Presents as a dynamic leader in Northwest Arkansas’ arts ecosystem. In just four and a half years under Anne’s leadership, Arts One Presents has produced 11 live performance productions, commissioned 8 public artworks, curated two exhibitions at the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History, and built a permanent art collection of more than 60 works. This collection includes four permanent installations at the Children’s Safety Center of Washington County in Springdale, reinforcing AOP’s commitment to using art to support healing spaces and community well-being.
Anne is deeply passionate about cultivating local artists and creatives, helping position them for larger opportunities throughout the region. Through Arts One Presents, she has expanded platforms for visual artists, performers, and designers while strengthening pathways for community theatre participants to practice and refine their craft in high-quality, professionally produced theatrical works. Central to Anne’s leadership is a strong belief in access to the arts. She is committed to removing barriers so more community members can not only attend and experience the arts, but also actively participate in creating them. Her work consistently emphasizes the power of art to educate, connect, and heal, particularly for individuals and communities who may not otherwise see themselves reflected in cultural spaces. With more than 20 years of experience advocating for nonprofit and arts organizations in Northwest Arkansas, Anne previously held development roles with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northwest Arkansas, Single Parent Scholarship Fund of Northwest Arkansas, Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art, and worked in high-profile event management for major festivals including The Atlantic Festival in Washington, D.C., and the Bentonville Film Festival.
A graduate of the University of Arkansas, Anne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism with a focus on Advertising and Public Relations. She is a graduate of Leadership Fayetteville, a former president of the Association of Fundraising Professionals Northwest Arkansas Chapter, a 2021 3W Magazine Leading Lady, Chair of the Bentonville Public Art Advisory Board, and a member of the Arkansas Community Foundation’s Philanthropy Club. She loves music, animals, and the Razorbacks, and is always eager to discuss how the arts can strengthen communities and create meaningful, lasting impact.
