Anastasia: The Musical is recommended for ages 8 and up, or parental discretion for younger children. While the Broadway musical is inspired by the beloved animated film, it presents the story through a more historically-grounded lens and includes themes of revolution, war, loss, identity, death, and family separation.

The production contains staged combat, theatrical gunfire sound effects, the use of a non-firing prop weapon, depictions of smoking and alcohol consumption, loud sound effects, haze, and occasional flashing lighting effects. These elements are presented in the context of the historical setting and are intended to support the storytelling.
